'Gray Matters'

Article Design

This was a magazine article I created about the wonders of your wit. I chose the title “Gray Matters” because the brain is sometimes described as gray matter, and matter can be synonymous with topics. From that idea I decided to flip that concept and have the cover imagery in black and white, but have the brain and its parts in bright and vibrant colors. This emphasized the parts of the brain and added consistency with each section of the article.
